Structural composition and workflow
1. Structural composition
Feed hopper: As the entrance of materials, it is used to put sawdust and other materials to be dried. Its design ensures that the materials can enter the drying system smoothly. It usually has a certain capacity and a reasonable opening size to facilitate the addition of materials.
Combustion chamber (Fire stove): Provides the heat required for drying. By burning fuel (such as biomass pellets, coal, etc., depending on the actual configuration), high-temperature flue gas is generated to provide heat energy for sawdust drying. It is the "heat source core" of the entire drying system.
Airflow conveying pipeline: It is composed of multiple sections of pipelines connected and is the channel for the flow of materials and hot air. The pipeline is usually made of high-temperature resistant and wear-resistant materials to ensure that the structure is stable and not easily damaged during the long-term transportation of high-temperature materials and gases, ensuring the continuous drying process.
Cyclone separator (or similar separation device): used to separate dried materials and gases. The dried sawdust arrives here with the airflow. Under the action of centrifugal force, the material is separated from the airflow, the sawdust is discharged from the bottom, and the gas is discharged from the system through subsequent treatment (such as dust removal), realizing the dual functions of material collection and gas purification.
2. Workflow
Feeding stage: Sawdust is put into the feed hopper, and the sawdust enters the starting end of the air flow conveying pipeline under its gravity or slight auxiliary power.
Heating and drying stage: The high-temperature hot air (or flue gas) generated by the combustion chamber enters the air flow pipeline and is fully mixed with the sawdust. Driven by the air flow, the sawdust flows rapidly in the pipeline with the hot air flow, and the heat of the hot air is continuously transferred to the sawdust, causing its moisture to gradually evaporate, thus realizing the drying process. At this stage, factors such as air flow velocity, temperature, and pipeline length will affect the efficiency and effect of drying, and need to be reasonably set according to the characteristics of the material.
Separation and discharging stage: The air flow carrying sawdust reaches the cyclone separator. Under the action of centrifugal force, the sawdust is thrown to the inner wall of the separator, and then falls by gravity and is discharged from the "Sawdust will come out here after drying" outlet to complete the collection after drying; the gas separated from the sawdust is discharged through channels such as the top of the separator and enters the subsequent environmental protection treatment link (such as bag dust removal, spray tower purification, etc., to ensure that the exhaust gas meets the emission standards).
